We’re driven by innovation and are proud that the technologies in our products and brands, like COLORBOND® steel, inspire and protect everything from hospitals and bridges to stadiums and homes.The OpportunityCome and discover the opportunity to join our Hot Strip Mill team at our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility as a Mechanical Maintenance Officer. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.In this hands-on position within the Hot Strip Mill Asset Team, you will deliver a quality, cost effective and flexible maintenance service for the department. You will improve equipment performance and reliability by understanding plant and equipment condition and then implementing corrective actions to restore as required.What Will You do?You will mentor and lead apprentices and other team members. You will provide technical advice and support to ensure both planned work and breakdowns are completed with a focus on safety, environment and quality of work.
