The principal objective of this role is to service, diagnose and undertake repairs to a wide variety of open pit earthmoving equipment in accordance with OGC procedures and policies.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on modern mining equipment, including Komatsu 200T 730E-10 Electric Drive haul trucks CAT 785, 777 and 773 Trucks; CAT D9 and D10 Dozers; CAT 16M Motor Graders as well as other Mining Support EquipmentDiagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, such as planned component changes, routine servicing, and component inspections, to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.Source technical information from the relevant OEM manuals, systems, technical bulletins, and service documentation.Maintain accurate maintenance records, document work performed and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
