• Delivers repeatable, long-term process and product quality solutions for new or changed products.
• Supports pre-series builds of new models to help identify, analyze, and drive resolution of new model specific problems (dimensional).
• Analyzes the scope of new designs by means of a systematic methods approach, with the goal being a repeatable, robust manufacturing process.
• Develops solutions to highly complex or unusual problems, which require regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
• Adheres to and administers business policies, budgets, procedures, practices and/or review of major projects and assignments.
• Supports procurement, process engineering, and design engineering in the problem solving process with external suppliers (i.e. presents data or develops possibleolutions, evaluates solutions).
• Promotes the principles and values of the plant in daily activities and future plans.
• Performs other duties as assigned by operations supervisor

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical).
• CAD/Catia
• Engineering experience
• German Language a plus
• 1+ year of related experience
• Intermediate = product engineering, technical problem solving, and KIFA experience
• Intermediate = innovative problem solving experience - Design, quality and/or process
• Intermediate = problem prioritization experience - Launch preventing vs.launch critical problem solving
• Intermediate = successful, on-time implementation of engineering changes, new models, or packages
