Who knows where our shared journey will take you? The Siemens Industry, Inc in Roebuck, SC is seeking an Offsite RGA Coordinator/Incoming Inspector to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As a RGA Coordinator/Incoming Inspector , you will be responsible for all actions associated with monitoring incoming parts/products and the handling of products returned to the plant under RGA. You will provide inspection support for fabrication areas on an as needed basis. Candidate should have ability to navigate SAP inventory system tools, have knowledge to read/interpret engineering prints, and have demonstrated ability to handle and use basic measurement devices. Some material handling will be involved which will include manual lifting and movement of materials and use of mechanical lift devices. We trust and empower our employees to act as owners, make decisions, and innovate to succeed.Additionally in this position you will:Responsibilities· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the RGA process at the offsite warehouse location.· Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment and to provide superior customer service to both external and internal customers and staff.· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.· Excellent communications skills in both written and verbal.· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.· Understanding of time sensitivity.· Perform incoming inspection to components identified through SAP.· Documenting and distributing audit results.· Support the inspection process of the cans operations.· Support the calibration of all tools and gauges at the offsite warehouse.· Act as the offsite liaison to the UL Inspector during site visits.· Will need to study for and Pass the UL50 exam.· Identifying material as non-conforming (as applicable), initiating NCR process and insuring product is not released until nonconformance is corrected.· Performing inspection and test of purchased, fabricated/manufactured and assembled products to determine compliance with directives and/or design specifications.· Installing and testing electrical components as needed to support assembly operations· Monitoring and coordinating material scrap transactions through SAP· Conducting ISIR/PPAP inspections for new or revised components.· Assisting Manufacturing setup and confirming correct assembly process, i.e. - correcting material/parts, tools, method and sequence.· Serving as a training resource for proper assembly of product.· Performing Initial Sample Inspection at startup/changeover of new/revised product assemblies.To win us over, you must have the following:Basic Qualifications· Must be able to navigate SAP Inventory System Tools· Must have knowledge to read/interpret engineering prints and have demonstrated ability to handle and use basic measurement devices.· Must have some material handling experience to include manual lifting and movement of materials and use of mechanical lift devices.· Must have high school diploma/GED or years of experienceApplicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
