Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Operational Excellence Product Manager for an opportunity with a client located in York, SC.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent our employees/users and has the primary responsibility for defining all product requirements and communicating those requirements to the user experience and technology delivery teams
  • Manages the priority of those requirements to ensure that the highest amount of business value is being delivered in the fastest time possible
  • Uses data and analytics to analyze their business and prioritize their product backlog appropriately
  • Represents the business and employee needs and requirements to drive feature implementation and development with associated technology teams
  • Clearly defines and write user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Reviews and approves large requirements and smaller requirements based on product/feature strategy
  • Accepts the stories as done, validating that the stories meet the acceptance criteria
  • Maintains a prioritized product backlog based on defined business value, aligning with Product Strategy and resource capacity
  • Provides UX/UI approval for the assigned product
  • Understands the why behind each Epic and Feature and works with the Operational Program Lead to understand the roadmap, supporting KPIs and can clearly communicate to the technology development teams
  • Uses analytics to monitor product KPIs and ensure success metrics are being met, identifies opportunities for testing and product enhancements based on results
  • Align efforts across program and product teams, prioritizing as necessary, and driving/facilitating execution to maintain focus and appropriate momentum
  • Build and leverage solid working relationships with business and product stakeholders, other Product Managers, user experience and technology teams to facilitate successful feature implementation
  • Provides input into and helps construct training and support materials
  • Leads user acceptance testing, product pilots, and implementations

Requirements/Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Project Management, Business, Communications, or other relevant areas or equivalent work experience plus 3+ years rental operations leadership experience
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams without direct report relationships
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to develop process maps, persuasive/communicative PowerPoint decks, and project plans
  • Demonstrated experience in the areas of customer experience and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration through effective change management
  • Preferred knowledge of Wynne Rentalman
  • Ability to learn new things like agile product development and project management methodologies
