As a member of the Australian leadership team, this role is responsible for all daily production, site management and planning activities, with a focus on safety, continuous improvement and strategic operational and sourcing planning activities to deliver our business goals:Institutionalise a healthy and safe working environment through the development and consistent practice of safety programs and proceduresDevelops and nurtures a team through effective leadership, change management, coaching and succession planning which develops a strong culture of engagement and performance. Proactively works to acquire and retain top talentManages daily site operations to ensure we provide OTIF supply to our customers whilst maintaining quality standards and minimising our cost to serve Owns the production and supply planning process, coupled with sales demand forecasts to ensure we maximise consistency and flexibility whilst minimising working capital Drives continuous improvement activities to deliver productivity, quality, cost reduction and customer satisfaction goalsLeads the ERP development and implementation, technology deployment and development of effective production and material planning and S&OP processesAccountable for delivering our key metrics in productivity, DIFOT, quality, freight, inventory and utilisationDrives capacity and asset strategy to meet the long-term business objectivesCompletes monthly reporting and activity contributor in leadership team meetings to drive business-wide objectivesContributes to Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Planning processesSupport the business with detailed analytical views on the demand-to-supply signals available. Ensuring good communication and presentation towards internal and external customers and stakeholders.Strong knowledge of procurement/sourcing/supplier contracts, with skills in defining commercial terms and contract negotiation.
