Part-time Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Part-time Bookkeeper in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The role primarily revolves around maintaining accurate financial records and processing transactions. The industry we operate in is broad, and you will be working in an office environment.Responsibilities: Oversee the management of financial records using software similar to QuickBooks Prepare checks to be signed and ensure they are ready when needed Handle account reconciliation tasks for accuracy in financial reports Carry out bookkeeping tasks including data entry and month-end close procedures Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Participate in finance meetings once a month to present financial reports Maintain consistency in working hours to ensure availability during office hours Manage payroll processes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and organize financial data Provide responses to financial inquiries by researching and interpreting data.Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with bank reconciliations Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles Proficiency in data entry Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with month end close procedures Familiarity with payroll processes Proficiency in QuickBooks software-Realm Automated Church software is a PLUS Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
