Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Patient Accounting/Finance Manager in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This position involves implementing and overseeing critical accounting procedures, leading financial planning and forecasting activities, and maintaining financial systems. The role also includes reviewing financial reports, analyzing data for financial forecasting, and processing payments.Responsibilities: Implement and oversee critical accounting procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting and banking regulations Lead financial planning and forecasting activities to achieve investment and accounting goals permanent, onboard, train, supervise, coach, assess, and provide performance feedback to finance team members Maintain and revise accounting systems as needed to ensure optimal performance Review financial reports and suggest corrective action as necessary to maintain financial health Collect and analyze data to prepare financial forecasts and suggest strategies to address challenges and leverage strengths Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to optimize profitability and transparency Assist and support upper-level management in making sound financial decisions that align with the organizational mission Review and process payments made to clients, vendors, and other business partners Find ways to cut costs without negatively impacting the long-term financial health of the organization. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data Experience with EHR SYSTEM for maintaining and accessing patient records Familiarity with Imaging Technologies for diagnostic purposes Proficiency in IPRO for managing healthcare processes Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Experience with the 'About Time' software for time tracking and management Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions within a healthcare setting Familiarity with Billing Functions, including insurance claims and patient billing Experience in Claim Administration to handle insurance claims effectively Exceptional Customer Service skills to ensure patient satisfaction and good relationships.
