Description We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team in Northern, KY. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be tasked with multiple responsibilities related to payroll processing for our clients. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and best practices.Responsibilities: Accurately process payroll for multiple clients in a timely manner. Handle accounts payable functions related to payroll, including management of deductions and payroll taxes. Timely processing of monthly and quarterly payroll returns for multiple companies. Stay updated and ensure compliance with changes in payroll regulations and best practices. Use your skills in Local Payroll Tax, Payroll Tax Deposits, Payroll Tax Reporting, Payroll Tax Returns, and Payroll Taxes to manage these tasks. Utilize your Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) skills to ensure accurate payroll processes. Handle Payroll - Garnishments and Payroll - Multi-State duties effectively. Manage Payroll for under 100 Employees, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Clerk or a similar role in finance or accounting Proficiency in local payroll tax processes Experience with payroll tax deposits, payroll tax reporting, and payroll tax returns Knowledge of payroll taxes and certified payroll professional (CPP) standards Familiarity with payroll garnishments, multi-state payroll, and managing payroll for under 100 employees Excellent numerical and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
