Preventative Maintenance Trade Assistant

The Preventative Maintenance Trade Assistant will support the Field Service Technician’s in maintaining and repairing TOMRA's reverse vending machine installations to ensure maximum uptime & customer satisfaction. This will be predominantly a field-based role and will focus on carrying out preventative maintenance on TOMRA machines across NSW, whilst also implementing machine upgrades.Please note this role is offered as an 18 month fixed-term contract. What you’ll be doing:Carrying out scheduled maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime of RVM installationsMaintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance, managing planned repairs and unplanned breakdowns effectively, while ensuring a best practice approachCarrying out regular machine upgrades as requiredDiagnosing and troubleshooting fundamental issues with TOMRA machinery that may be mechanical or electrical in natureResponding to occasional work orders as and when neededReporting on service assignments and faultsDriving for long periods as required and attending to some occasional call-outs outside your areaProviding excellent customer service to our partners and to members of the publicUndertake cleaning of equipmentPriortising safety in all aspects of your work
