Private RN or CNA needed, elderly man with Parkinson's

$31hr for private RN and $25hr for CNA

We are seeking a private CNA to help with 24-hour care for an 89-year-old man with Parkinson's.

My husband has Parkinson's, and we need 24-hour care from a CNA, day and evening shifts are available.

He has limited mobility and requires assistance with daily living activities. I work outside the home, so consistent and attentive care is essential.

Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting

Support with mobility: transfers, walking assistance, fall prevention

Medication reminders and monitoring

Meal preparation and feeding assistance

Light housekeeping and laundry

Companionship: engaging in conversation, watching sports, sharing stories

Monitor overall well-being and communicate any concerns to wife

Ideal Candidate:

CNA licensed in SC

Prior experience caring for individuals with Parkinson’s or similar conditions

Patient, empathetic, and attentive to detail

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor

Enjoys sports and meaningful conversation

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license (preferred)

CPR/First Aid certification

Background check required

References from previous caregiving roles

Interview will be in Union SC (at wife's place of business) but job will be in Spartanburg
