Production Associate (Assembler)Contract to Hire! ImmediateJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Production Associate who can utilize basic tools and inspection equipment to ensure the quality of parts produced. The ideal candidate will contribute to meeting the production schedule by performing minor equipment maintenance, securing qualified First Piece Inspections after setup, and accurately reporting parts production and downtime.Responsibilities
Use basic tools to complete tasks.
Utilize inspection equipment and gauges to inspect parts.
Produce quality parts to meet the production schedule.
Perform minor equipment maintenance as required.
Secure a qualified First Piece Inspection after setup.
Report parts production, separate scrap parts by shift, and report downtime.
Work cooperatively to achieve the production schedule.
Essential Skills
Experience in production.
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previously held a machine operator position.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Capability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
Proficient use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Ability to reach with hands and arms.
Good depth perception, color vision, close vision, and peripheral vision.
