We're currently seeking a Senior Production Operations Specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the production processes of the F-16 Block 70. As a Senior Production Operations Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our team-based manufacturing environment, supporting all phases of the F-16 Manufacturing and Assembly process. From On-the-Job training to assessing and instructing technicians, you'll ensure the highest standards of quality and proficiency are met.Key Responsibilities- Gain a comprehensive understanding and application of aircraft manufacturing principles, concepts, and standards.- Maintain daily vigilance on the assembly line to identify and address deficiencies in structural assembly processes, procedures, or personnel skills.- Interface with personnel for re-certification purposes and make recommendations for de-certification when necessary.- Develop solutions to complex problems in aircraft manufacturing processes, leveraging industry precedents and policies.- Support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, and process improvements, while maintaining 6S/lean processes.- Demonstrate proficiency in standards, principles, theories, and concepts relevant to the roleWhat’s In It For You: 3 day weekends every weekend!From onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security, Learn more about Lockheed Martin’s comprehensive benefits package here.Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? Must be a United States citizen.Basic Qualifications: 5 years of experience relative to aircraft manufacturing, structural assembly, or Modification. Experience in explaining/demonstrating layout process and secure coordination of assemblies, working to station, water, center, and butt lines as shown on engineering documents.
