All this, we do to provide an opportunity for a better future for all of our TEAM MEMBERS.We are looking for a PSM Supervisor for the Principe Columbia site that:JOB SUMMARYThe PSM Supervisor is responsible for implementation and coordination of PSM and RMP regulatory compliance and the integrity of the refrigerant systems, including Ammonia and other cooling process systems.Annual Salary Range: $58,500 to $76,000ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following (other duties may be assigned);Maintain the PSM program and ensure compliance with all (EPA) federal, state and local regulatory requirementsDirect plant workforce and assist leadership in developing, implementing and sustaining plant specific policies, procedures, programs and trainings to achieve and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements, governmental regulations and our internal EHS policiesConduct meetings with designated refrigeration personnel in a disciplined mannerMaintain a working knowledge of PSM (14 elements), RMP, CCA 608 and all applicable state and federal rules and regulations. Provide technical insight and guidance, as well as high level PSM training as neededProvide oversight and support for incident management and WC case management, involving Risk Management and TPA where necessaryWork closely with the Operations Director, Plant Engineer and other functions to assure alignment in the administration of hazardous chemical safety & environmental programsEducate personnel on program aspects to include: hazard recognition, inspections and how to address gaps.Coordinates, and participates in PSM and RMP program activities which include management of change, pre-startup safety review, and process hazard analysis activities.Monitor and assist in training on operating procedures including the annual review/certification and initial/refresher training. Assist in creating and updating operating procedures when needed as well as maintaining the operating procedure training matrix.Oversees, coordinates and participates in employee participation activities in accordance with PSM and RMP programs.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESEffective verbal & written communication skillsAbility to organize & plan daily responsibilities efficientlyStrong background performing service on ammonia refrigeration systems, including routine or preventive maintenanceExtensive experience in the areas of HAZOP, PHA Checklists, Workers Compensation, CCA 608, OSHA, etc. is essential.Excellent computer skills.Educator by nature; passion for training others on PSM processesBi-lingual capabilities would be a plus.GCAP Ammonia Technician I certification is strongly preferred; will consider Operator II credentials to startAssociate’s Degree in a technical topic and at least 3 years of PSM and RMP activities or equivalent combination of education & experienceDECISION – MAKING AUTHORITYLimited scope; works with defined parametersBUDGETARY OR PROPERTY RESPONSIBILITYNoneWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe position will not require frequent travel, although some travel to other sites, corporate or elsewhere for trainings should be expected.More about us:Opportunity for career growth – we prefer to promote internal employees into management roles as they are ready for new responsibilitiesComprehensive benefits package for full time employees including Medical, 401(k) and free tuition to select schoolsCharitable involvement across Mid-West communities ( Hometown Strong )Company Culture ( Purpose & Culture )EOE/Vets/Disability
