ThePRN Quality Specialistensures organization compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Works under the leadership of the Administrative Director of Quality to ensure organization and department specific compliance with corporate requirements
  • Works under the leadership of the Administrative Director of Quality to ensure organization and department specific compliance with local, state and federal agencies, including CMS, Joint Commission, DHEC, etc.
  • Collaborates with leaders to develop corrective action plans in response to regulatory survey findings as directed by the Administrative Director of Quality.
  • Assists with the submission of corrective action plans to regulatory agencies timely.
  • Assists the Administrative Director of Quality in the investigation of complaints filed with regulatory agencies and submits appropriate responses timely as directed.
  • Assists the Administrative Director of Quality and the Director of Patient Safety in the investigation of any Sentinel Events.
  • Assists with the Continuous Readiness Meeting
  • Develops and implements action plans for continuous regulatory survey readiness.
  • Evaluates and manages internal and external reports for appropriate benchmarks, data validity and analysis of regulatory and patient safety indicators.
  • Assists with activities to implement regulatory readiness through an ongoing program that objectively and systematically monitors and evaluates the quality of patient care and the required documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned

Role Requirements:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:Licenses/certifications required by State.
  • Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare related field required. Master’s Degree preferred
  • Experience: Clinical background required. Two to five years healthcare experience in patient safety, regulatory and or quality preferred. Healthcare experience should be recent and within a clinical setting such as Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center, etc.
