And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.We are looking for:A Regional Inventory Analyst for North America Composite Materials who possess the ability to communicate precisely and fluently at all levels and have daily contact with cross functional areas and senior management. This role will require you to develop and implements policies, procedures, and best practices with regard to inventory control for the Composite Materials manufacturing, warehousing and 3rd party operations in North America, for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information and operational performance. This role will support the achievement of working capital targets and drive compliance with financial accounting policies with support from the local site controller.You will work closely with site management and the director, supply chain to drive continuous improvement to better the overall operation utilizing techniques such as lean, 5S & Kaizen.We count on you for:

Manage cycle count process in line with corporate standards using ERP system.

Lead Physical Inventory count if required per annual criteria (ref corporate cycle count policy and AAP (Cytec Solvay acceptable accounting) documents).

Contribute to policies and processes to optimize inventory whilst maintaining continuity of supply

Partner with functional teams (Mfg, Engineering, Procurement, Sales, Production Planning and Warehousing) in the development of tools and methods to support processes that deliver inventory accuracy in line with established KPI’s

Drive performance to established KPI’s

Partner with functional teams and to work independently in continued Inventory Process Improvements, Inventory Reduction and Cost Reduction efforts.

Support the development and implementation of lean / pull base processes to optimize inventory levels

Responsible for the scheduling of, analysis and corrective steps associated with our cycle count process to ensure that we meet the inventory waiver criteria to avoid undertaking a full physical inventory. To host a full physical count should this be necessary.

Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting to support the business. This would include, cycle counting schedules, count sheets, accuracy of inventory, financial variance, RCCA, etc.

Provide analysis to the business management on root cause analysis suggesting areas of focus and improvement.

Work with finance and operations management to ensure internal controls/approvals are adhered to in line with corporate policy for inventory write off

Provides reports on expired, slow moving, and quarantined inventory. Reviews inventory aging report with Controller and Management monthly to insure that losses from obsolescence are held to a minimum amount.

Comply with and ensure compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies

You will Bring:

Degree in supply chain or Business preferred.

2 to 4 years’ experience in Inventory Control or Supply Chain Management

Proficient in Microsoft programs especially Excel (including pivot table use, lookup – macro use a plus), PowerPoint, and Word.

Prefer experience using SAP (ERP system). Experience required in an integrated MRP system.

Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter.

Desired - experience working with metrics based continuous improvement.

Excellent understanding of best practice inventory control and accuracy and have the ability to manage and develop a team, whilst driving change.

Outstanding team player, who is self-motivated and can translate plans into results.

Strong in analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with a passion for safety, customer care and quality together with excellent communication skills.

The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $85,000 - $105,000/yearly. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
