Job Description

Great opportunityfor a motivated, caring, and dedicated Registered Psychologist/Behaviour Support Practitioner with a passion for working with individuals with long-term health conditions and disabilities to join our multidisciplinary team.

Other relevant allied health professionals (Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist) would also be considered in this role and are encouraged to apply. Full and part-time hours available.

Our team is recognised for the services they provide to our clients and members of the community throughout Australia. This role will see you providing positive behaviour support and psychological support to individuals across the lifespan.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria

  • Experience delivering services under the NDIS
  • Experience in the provision of an effective service for clients with complex needs
  • Knowledge of a range of evidence based psychological therapies
  • Exceptional communication and client engagement skills
  • Eligibility to be registered with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a PBS Practitioner
  • A valid driver’s licence and full access to a vehicle
  • A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one)

Desirable Criteria

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or other relevant professional body
  • Experience in development and implementation of positive behaviour support plans
