Review Editor

The Australian Financial Review is looking for an experienced editor with strong news judgement and broad knowledge across politics, business, culture and the arts. Review draws on a range of syndication sources and contributors to keep AFR readers up to date with the best writing from across the world. You’ll also provide editorial support to other sections, including National, World, Perspective and AFR Weekend. Day-to-day, you’ll work alongside other editors, reporters and production journalists on everything from editing breaking news to overseeing a lengthy feature or interview.

Your primary duties will be:Coordinating coverage for Review and where required, other sections of AFRPlanning and editing storiesWorking with the photo desk, graphics and the online team to optimise content and presentation.Ensuring syndication and contributor agreements are maintainedMonitoring breaking news and updating coverage as necessaryEnsuring the accuracy and quality of all content
