Job Description

Due to our continued growth and success within our new business sales team, we are recruiting for full time Sales Operation position in Sydney. We are looking for a candidate with a background and passion for marketing and new business development as well as strong analytical, data and organisational skills. This is a varied role and will support our field sales team with marketing content, social media campaigns, events management, market data analysis, leads sourcing and qualification and many more requirements. Using strong communication skills and deadline management, sales operations will effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of moderate to high complexity and scope, and have the ability to perform in a challenging and fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Qualify sales leads utilising reporting, market research and analytics tools.
  • Engage in pre-sale engagement activities for target customers prior to Sales engagement.
  • Organise sales events, virtual and in person to drive existing and new customer engagement.
  • Create and curate updated marketing materials for the Sales team and create customer-focused PowerPoint presentations in support of business development.
  • Utilise the Customer Relationship Management system to help the sales team drive new business
  • Coordinate tender response information as requested by the District Sales team or the Expeditors network.
  • Produce reporting on key metrics and manage monthly delivery of key reports to the District Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate visitor management for the district and ensure the Sales team maximises opportunities for scheduled meetings with visitors and customers.
  • Attend training & development sessions to understand the requirements of Sales and be able to provide Sales with updates on new developments and tools.
  • Support the on-boarding of new Sales personnel.
  • Communicate new internal information and tools to Sales, ensuring they are informed of new developments.
  • Take on additional assignments, as required, in support of company needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with data and data analysis using Excel and other tools.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn Sales fundamentals and processes.
  • Passion to drive and support a team toward winning results.
  • Outstanding time management skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency to achieve goals.
  • Outstanding problem solving, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence to make decisions in response to changing conditions.
  • Confidence to proactively collaborate across the Expeditors network to support Sales efforts.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Familiarity with PowerBI.
  • Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment.
  • Oral and written proficiency in the English language.
  • Flexibility to take on additional tasks as requested.
