We are seeking skilled Sandblaster/Painters to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or finishing by using sandblasting techniques & finishing surfaces with Proper coatings. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of various materials, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Sandblaster will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on construction projects. - OSHA 10 or OSHA Basic+ is a plus can be provided if you have verifiable experience - Drug and Background policies of each site must be adhered to as needed. - Respirator testing and compliance with safety for each site worked is mandatory.Note:The hourly rate for this position is $22 - $25 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape surfaces.

Prepare surfaces by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants.

Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met.

Apply knowledge of color theory and construction painting techniques to achieve desired finishes.

Maintain an organized work area and adhere to cleanliness standards.

Assist in estimating project needs and timelines as required.

Select the appropriate paint or mix paints according to pre-determined formula and in accordance with contract specifications Disassembles paint and sandblasting equipment

Cleans equipment, using solvent, wire brushes, dry cloths, etc.

Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in sandblasting or related fields such as construction painting or masonry.

Prefeered 2+ years of commercial or industrial sandblasting/painting experience.

Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.

Familiarity with concrete finishing and frame carpentry is a plus.

Knowledge of color theory and its application in construction painting is desirable.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the workday.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
