The location for this position is virtual/remoteThis is your chance to be part of our Hotel Operations team that oversees the daily functions of our Americas-managed hotel portfolio!What will I be doing?As the Senior Director of Culinary, you will support the team in ensuring our guests receive an exceptional hospitality experience and that we remain a leader in our industry. On the F&B team reporting to the Senior Vice President of F&B Operations, you will elevate all culinary-related products and experiences by being both the lead and driver of quality, consistency, and delivery of our culinary mission across the Full-Service brand portfolio which includes, Embassy Suites, DoubleTree, Hilton, Signia and our Luxury & Lifestyle brands.Your responsibilities will also include:

Develop, implement, and direct culinary strategies and menus for all brands under the leadership of the SVP Food & Beverage for all Managed food areas: restaurants, bars, banquets, and grab & go.

Lead new hotel openings by coordinating all culinary responsibilities, supervise the kitchen planning process for new projects and remodels, and collaborate with our Brand leads to establish new strategies, programs, and concepts (e.g., Menu development, interior design, equipment, and training plans).

Build, develop, and implement a culinary culture of constant improvement by providing educational material via our FOH Studio, facilitating R&D sessions to inspire innovation, and organizing workshops with our partner suppliers to ensure quality and provide education.

Engage in the development of departmental objectives for the business and direct the methodologies by which those objectives will be accomplished and measured.

How you will collaborate with others:

Translate organizational goals and objectives into performance standards for divisions, departments, and individual positions.

Ensure hotel Executive Chefs complete established performance plans.

Lead and guide culinary leadership in the properties to deliver upon established culture, goals, and business processes.

What are we looking for?Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

Ensure systems and programs are in place at the hotels to guarantee safe food handling.

Lead the creative process in all menu development for all applicable brands.

Assist in the identification of restaurant and bar operator partners that will improve the visibility of Hilton and maximize financial return.

Support the recruitment efforts for all Executive Chefs, Executive Sous Chefs, and Restaurant and Banquet Chefs.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Ten (10) or more years in hospitality (F&B, Catering, or similar field)

Four (4) years as an Executive Chef or in a convention center operations management position

50-60% travel (e.g., To conduct on-site property evaluations and development, represent and participate in industry tradeshows, events, or internal meetings, as requested).

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Bachelor's Degree

Five (5) years in non-hotel or restaurant-based culinary development (e.g., Food, menus, or product)

Multi-unit oversight in a Regional or above-property capacity

Experience negotiating deals

Global luxury hotel experience

Advanced Culinary certification(s)

Bilingual or Trilingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese)
