NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYThe Global Technology (GT) organization is on a mission to modernize Marriott’s information architecture and technology capabilities that will enable the company to bring new kinds of best-in-class experiences to our customers worldwide and define the future of travel and hospitality. The Senior Manager of Enterprise Portfolio & Delivery Analytics will be responsible for guiding Marriott’s technology strategy and implementation by leading the creation of a unified analytics roadmap and leveraging analytics to generate actionable insights from data related to all kinds of enterprise technology and software development activities. The Senior Manager will conduct analytic deep-dives, develop metrics and KPIs, and build dashboards to help move the organization forward in agile product development/delivery. The Senior Manager will also lead engagements with internal and external partners to drive enterprise data strategy initiatives and shape the evolution of analytics and decision-making across Global Technology.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and ExperienceRequired Qualifications:

4-year undergraduate degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Economics, Business Administration, or a quantitative discipline

5+ years’ experience in product analytics, agile delivery analytics, sales analytics, marketing analytics, or a related technical discipline

4+ years of strong experience querying and manipulating large quantities of data using SQL

4+ years of strong experience building sophisticated dashboards and reports using Tableau

4+ years of strong experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel, especially using Vlookups and PivotTables

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience analyzing JIRA data

Experience leading data strategy engagements and guiding and advising senior leaders

Experience creating analytics roadmaps

Programming experience in Python or R

Experience with multiple data warehouses (Netezza, AWS, Azure, Snowflake)

Familiarity with product management methodologies within SAFe

CORE WORK ACTIVITIESThis position may support one or more functional areas within Technology Portfolio Management

Analyze large datasets using SQL, Tableau, and EazyBI to provide actionable insights to business leaders to continuously enhance agile product development and delivery and help optimize Marriott’s technology strategy

Develop comprehensive dashboards to analyze agile product development & delivery performance data, giving our stakeholders the ability to dive into organizational performance

Thoughtfully contribute to the creation of a delivery analytics roadmap explaining our vision and offerings to the organization as well as our execution path and timeline

Work cross-functionally with Global Technology teams to understand existing datasets and identify data sources needed to support the business, align on metrics, and ensure accurate and consistent analytics

Build and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and be seen as a trusted business intelligence advisor by the Global Technology organization and its leadership to push the business forward, problem-solve, and identify positive return-on-investment (ROI) opportunities

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually.Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $185,551.00 annually.New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $113,393.00 to $204,107.00 annually.Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $93,713.00 to $204,107.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
