Senior Systems Engineer - Scrum Master

This is an exciting time to contribute to a mission-critical program with lasting impactful results. Leidos is currently looking to add a Senior Systems Engineer (SE-3) to a growing task! The Systems Engineer will perform general systems engineering support and serve as the Scrum Master of an agile development team. They will work collaboratively with the software engineering team, testers, product owners and external teams to ensure a successful project. Responsibilities include ensuring the team adopts agile principles and follow the processes and practices, removing impediments to progress, facilitating meetings, working with the product owner and being very familiar with the product backlog. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to general systems engineering, requirements gathering, and defining and integrating system interfaces, drafting reports, briefing the customer on a frequent basis. The Systems Engineer will develop and deliver documentation, participate in various meetings and interface regularly with SMEs and internal and external teams.Primary Responsibilities and Skills

Scrum Master Certification

5 years Scrum Master Experience

Advanced JIRA experience

Very good communication skills (Verbal & Written)

Detail oriented

Team player

Strong leadership skills

Basic QualificationsTwenty (20) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Experience leading a team that implements agile scrum methodology for software development.Clearance Required: TS/SCI with PolygraphPreferred Qualifications

Pay Range:Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
