Description: Job Title: Specialist, Program Management Job Code: IMS20210511-72223 Job Location: Greenville, Texas Job Description:L3Harris Aviation Services is searching for a motivated and energetic Program Manager (PM) to contribute to the success of the Strategic Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Programs business unit. The Strategic ISR program is a critical international contract that spans all aspects of the program lifecycle, from initial development through to delivery and CLS. This Program Manager (PM) position has responsibility for working with the program team to lead critical aircraft modification and maintenance projects from preliminary design through critical design, modification, test, and delivery. This includes the responsibility for proposal preparation and negotiation, preparation of component SOWs and specifications, and contract performance (cost, schedule, and quality). Function as the point-of-contact between the Program Office, Functional Management, the Customer, supplier, cross-sector and segment groups, and other stakeholders to coordinate efforts to ensure successful resolutions of program issues.

Manage budgets. Provide comprehensive analysis of program requirements and manage impact to program EACs for all related actions.

Interact with Engineering / Engineering design reviews, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing personnel to ensure appropriate drawings are released and program schedules are achieved.

Utilize program management tools to monitor and report program performance to objectives (including budget, schedule, and other management requirements), and facilitate project coordination and decision-making.

Responsible for briefing customer, user, and upper management on assigned aspects of the program.

The PM directs the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones. The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others.

The PM will also assist in developing and winning new business in cooperation with Business Development.

Job Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of applicable experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Proven team player with the ability to work effectively with others; has outstanding customer relationship skills and presents a professional appearance.

Prefer technical PM or equivalent leadership capacity, strong project management skills, outstanding communication (both verbally and written), negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.

Recent experience in Commercial and Military Aviation/Aerospace products development and production is highly desired.

Knowledge of manpower planning, milestone scheduling, PM tools, and related financial management.

Capable of managing and working in an environment that is fast paced, demanding, with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of SAP and material movement transactions, engineering drawing tree structure, and system-level requirements design practices and hardware/software specification development is desired.

Travel is required up to 25% of the time.

Position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain the stated clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
