Piper Companies is currently looking for a Senior Ansible Consultant in Charleston, SC to join a rapidly growing company supporting more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies. Our client's Public Sector Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant focused on container infrastructure. In this role, you will take part in our regional consulting operations or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and DevOps practices. You'll work on the customer site, drawing from your experience in the implementation of automated container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architectures. As a Senior Ansible Consultant, you will learn to implement next-generation cloud infrastructure and delivery workflows on large-scale container platform clusters using Java, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Ansible Automation, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Red Hat OpenShift. You won't be expected to know everything on day one, but your ability to learn new technology quickly will be essential.
Responsibilities for the Sr. Ansible Consultant include: • Provide consulting delivery within customer technical environments (test, develop, prod, etc.). • Architect Ansible and other RHT technical solutions for our clients, including documenting requirements and specifications and developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges. • Assist in managing and delivering large projects, supporting the project manager through effective communication of tasks and issue identification and escalation. • Travel frequently to work alongside customers in government facilitiesQualifications for the Sr. Ansible Consultant include: • Platform scripting experience with the Ruby, Python, or Go languages • 10 years of work experience with 4+ years of Linux system admin experience implementing Commercial Cloud Platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. • 2+ years supporting Federal consulting project(s). • 3+ years in a hands-on technology-focused role as an Ansible Consultant. • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), VMware VCP, or ITIL certifications are a plus. • Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance Compensation for the Sr. Ansible Consultant includes: • Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 • Full Benefits: Cigna Healthcare, MetLife Dental, VSP Vision, 401k with Voya, and Paid Time Off- ID: #49971968
