WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for designing, creating and maintenance of Enterprise Databases.
  • Assist in architecture, design and development of enterprise applications
  • This role will participate in the full development life cycle which includes but is not limited to: preparing analysis documents, translating business requirements to detailed design specifications, writing detailed program specifications from design specifications, writing code components that match detailed specifications, and developing and executing test plans to ensure software quality

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related area or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years' experience in database administration
  • Experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2019
  • Experience with ASP.NET/VB.NET
  • Ability to design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures
  • Experience with Data Warehouse Management (in Azure is a plus)
  • End to end knowledge of Windows SQL Clusters (Active/Active, Active/Passive, and Always On)
  • Experience with SQL PaaS in Azure
  • Experience with Oracle database management a plus
  • Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, VB.NET, ASP.NET,
ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
  • Experience in building and supporting custom data integrations between disparate systems
