Description: Sr. Mechanical Engineer We are currently seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for our Greenville, TX location.Participates in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations. Engineer applies basic engineering design and/or analytical theory with understanding of structural analysis for application to integrated system design. Engineer will be responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost. Designs will be accomplished using world-class, three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and work will be accomplished with senior-level design engineers. Mechanical design engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on various aircraft platforms.Essential Functions: Design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations.

Qualifications: Requires Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineering.

Eight (8) years aircraft design related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required

Good computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required

Be able to walk to and from the flight line, work in aircraft hangar environment and board/exit aircraft is required.

Willing to travel or relocate, if necessary

Must be a US Citizen

Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance at the Secret level

Preferred Additional Skills:CAD skills are highly desired

Understanding of basic aircraft systems
