Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the Supply Chain Purchasing Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.The growth of the 787 program makes this role an opportunity to be involved in exciting innovation through supply chain opportunities and partnerships, cross-functional problem solving, and an on-going Lean journey. The selected candidate will provide support the Supply Chain Purchasing Team purchasing Portable Tools and Shop Supplies and Hazardous Materials for the 787 Program.Position Responsibilities :

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain

Analyzes complex material requirements

Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan

Determines part number attributes

Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

Ensures on-time delivery

Documents and resolves order delinquencies

Reports schedule adherence issues

Develops and controls inventory plans

Optimizes inventory levels

Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories

Initiates audits

Develops and creates schedules for products and services

Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals

Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance

Collaborating with other organizations, including systems

Training other teammates

Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management

3+ years of experience in a role that required the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

3+ years of experience coordinating across multiple functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities

3+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)

3+ years of experience with Lean+ and/or Lean 5S

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3+ years of experience in Project Management

5+ years of experience with scheduling experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment

3+ years of experience with ERPLN, CribMaster, HazTrax, SAP, Ariba

Typical Education / Experience:Mid-Level (Level 3):Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Masters, etc.) preferred, but not required.Senior (Level 4):Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.
