Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist in Duncan, South Carolina. Your primary role will be to streamline our supply chain operations, ensuring our procedures are both efficient and cost-effective. You will be part of a dynamic team in the logistics industry, working to ensure the smooth and timely flow of goods in and out of our facilities.Responsibilities: Coordinate compliance activities related to FTZ Operations for the specified trade lane. Administer audits to the FTZ by relevant authorities and process necessary documentation. Oversee and handle the processing of Inbound in-bonds and permits to transfer. Conduct regular reviews of inventory and make necessary adjustments. Coordinate with other teams as needed to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations. Develop and maintain work instructions in accordance with the FTZ procedures manual. Handle the processing of Outbound in-bonds. Monitor FTZ system error messages and resolve them promptly. Ensure the company operates within the scope of authority by monitoring import product. Prepare KPI’s to track and ensure operational effectiveness. Requirements Proficiency in using software such as 3M, Dcs, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, IBM AS/400, and About Time. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information within and outside the organization. Outstanding customer service skills to ensure satisfaction of clients and customers. Proven experience in forecasting to predict supply chain processes and outcomes. Demonstrated ability in KPI Reporting to monitor and analyze performance metrics. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on business needs. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges promptly. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently. Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
