Systems Administrator

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Summerville, South Carolina. The primary function of this role will be to manage and support our rapidly evolving digital environment, delivering crucial support for network systems and applications across various industry sectors. Responsibilities: Ensure effective installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system software and hardware. Troubleshoot technical issues related to server performance and timely application of updates and fixes. Create and manage virtual machines using VMware, also overseeing resource allocation for these systems. Utilize proficient knowledge of imaging techniques and practices for Windows 10/11. Set up new computer systems, perform routine maintenance, and ensure all system devices are running seamlessly. Provide high-level support for Citrix Workspace environment and facilitate user integration. Maintain a thorough understanding of Cisco networking to assist and maintain network systems. Respond promptly to support tickets, diagnose, resolve and follow up on all network related issues. Handle support for various third-party applications, acting on any issues that arise and liaising with the appropriate providers to rectify concerns. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support. Requirements Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential for this role. Must have a solid understanding and hands-on experience with Citrix Technologies. Demonstrated experience with Cloud Technologies is required. Must possess knowledge of Database management and operations. Familiarity with Dell Technologies is a crucial requirement. Must be skilled in Active Directory management and operations. Experience with Backup Technologies is necessary. Must have knowledge and experience in Computer Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
