Technical Director, CNO R&D

DescriptionThe ever-evolving Cyber landscape requires the development of innovative technical solutions to support operational cyber missions through research, engineering, and development.The Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) at Leidos is seeking a motivated individual to help architect, design, and lead a dynamic environment with a team of Cyber Engineers in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, prototyping, design, software development, integration, and test tasks to develop capabilities against a variety of technologies and platforms. As we work to reimagine the state of offensive cyber operations tooling and bring innovative technical solutions to bear over the next several years, this role is critical to help set the future direction and will report directly to the CABA CTO.Responsibilities, but not limited to:Expand and manage the technical direction for our internal research and development efforts regarding our offensive strategy for a $15B+ Fortune 250.Work with a team of researchers within Leidos across a range of technology areas; identify synergies and collaborations with other Leidos research and development efforts.Resolve highly complex problems faced by developing solutions that are innovative, and achieved through research and integration of best practices and leading technologies.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or applicable engineering field and 15+ years of experience in CNO R&D, computer science, information systems, or network engineering.Minimum ten (10) years of experience programming: (e.g Assembly, C, C, Python)Minimum ten (10) years of experience programming offensive cyber tools and/or techniquesExperience utilizing reverse engineering and debugging tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Windbg, Radare2, Binary Ninja, Immunity Debugger/Ollydbg, gdb, lldb, or othersExperience analyzing, disassembling, and reverse engineering software binaries and/or hardwareExperience performing in-depth analysis (dynamic/static) on diverse set of platformsProtocol analysis experience with knowledge of TCP/IP and other networking protocolsExperience performing open source research & vulnerability analysisExperience developing documentation and reports (analysis reports, test reports, etc.)US Citizen with TS/SCI and Polygraph ClearancePreferred QualificationsDeep understanding of DoD/IC Customers that have authority to conduct cyber operations.Experience identifying software vulnerabilities and developing code to demonstrate exploitationExperience analyzing, disassembling, and reverse engineering software binaries and/or hardwareExperience performing in-depth analysis (dynamic/static) on diverse set of based platformsExperience using tools to extract and analyze firmware or softwareDemonstrated experience with programming cyber tools and techniquesExperience analyzing firmware of embedded devicesAbility to analyze network traffic for vulnerabilitiesDeveloping for real time operating systems (RTOS) and interesting embedded systems.Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technical findings, briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to othersOriginal Posting Date:2024-10-01While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
