Technical Lead, CRKDevelops solution architecture(SA) and resolves complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support and project supervision.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Designing (SA) in large or complex programs, including system and application designs, software and technical architecture, in accordance with strategies and objectives.

Providing expertise for the (SA) team and other IT staff on a variety of issues in software designs, system architecture and solution-oriented technologies.

Communicating with clients and analyses business requirements and processes; making recommendations, and leading in shaping future plans in (SA).

Overseeing (SA) project outcomes, including hardware and software design; ensuring that each project phase meets overall requirements.

Lead end to end client file remittance processing

Lead contingent worker outsource contracts and risk management

Oversees client file remittance certification process

Lead the team to identity business needs, conduct requirements gathering, and define scope and objectives for remittance processing

Monitors development work to make sure resulting software meets established goals

Lead and collaborate with L1 support team on production issues

Participating in any detailed root cause analysis and remediation as needed

Required Skills:

5 or more years of experience in Development or Production Support/Engineering in a mainframe environment

3 or more years of experience in a Technical Lead role within the financial services industry, specifically Retirement recordkeeping

Experience with client remittance processing from a business and IT perspective

Experience with server management, Oracle, SQL, and file transfer protocols.

Experience working in a mainframe environment, including general knowledge of JCL, Cobol, VSAM files, etc

Experience with batch processing (both distributed and mainframe) including job scheduling

Experience with incident analysis and resolution

Proficiency with FIS/Sungard OmniDC transactions

Resolves complex application and technical problems

Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and/or application components

Experience mentoring and training to more junior associates

Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes

Collaborative, articulate thought leader with technical background

Knowledge of System Development Life cycles methodologies SDLC and direct experience leading teams in an agile environment

Experience performing as the primary technical support contact as a member of a on-call production support team

Preferred Skills:

Written and verbal communication skills: articulate and effective communicator and presenter, able to describe complex problems in both technical and business terms

Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a mission critical operating environment

Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies

Ability to work with business to define requirements and IT to implement them into our current remittance/roster mapping process

Ability to understand multiple complex file layout processing thru multiple platforms

Ability to analyze functional needs and drive the design for positive business outcomes; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards

Ability to work collaboratively on development and production support troubleshooting, and other technical efforts

Base Pay Range: $102,000/yr. - $170,000/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
