The company is a division of Compass Group and has more than 1,200 registered dietitians, 300 executive chefs, and 17,000 professional food service team members.Job SummaryThe Training Manager will manage the definition of, agreement on and delivery of the Training Plan for Morrison/Prisma Health System projects, and as the training SME, ensure that training methods and materials support a strategic training vision and provide a consistent experience for end users. The L&D/Training Manager will ensure all necessary end user training materials are identified and available in each Plan and training materials remain up-to-date, complete and accessible. The L&D/Training Manager will manage and support communications for the Morrison/Prisma Health System working closely with Compass One Communications and Prisma Health System. Recipe to Succeed: Define and present a strategic direction and roadmap for end user training, factoring in best practice and lessons learned with existing methods and materials or the creation of new materials
Drive learning initiatives that support the Compass/Morrison & PrismaHealth System brand and Vision & Values
Interact with region and field partners on a regular basis, developing a credible presence with them
Consult with all managers and region leadership to assess their learning needs. Fulfill those needs with existing programs, outsourcing or developing customized training programs and learning experiences.
Manage the training content
Demonstrate and support the standardization of company process and programs across the Health System
Provide a regular status of learning and development activities specific to the region and to each individual manager within the region
Partner with Compass One L&D and Communications to insure that standards are rolled out and executed
Identify compliance training gaps and develop action plan to close gaps
Partner with safety and use training to drive results
Manage Health System award submissions (BeAStar, GEM, etc)
Partner with Atrium System and Compass One Communications to execute appropriate and necessary communication pieces
Necessary Ingredients: Bachelor’s degree PREFFERED; Master’s desired.
2-4 years of training/educating experience
Must have excellent stand-up delivery and facilitation skills that drive key learning outcomes and motivate application beyond the classroom
Clear understanding of adult learning and the role it plays in facilitating learning
Proven experience in creating, implementing and measuring a training strategy, including project timelines, budget, job allocation, measuring and reporting results
Exemplary interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 25% of time
