- 2 years user interface design experience.

- Our UX Designers are not web developers - the candidate will be expected to focus on designing the visuals; understanding user behavior and feelings when interacting with the solution; and how our users will interact and navigate with the solution.
- Our User Experience (UX) Design team builds relationships with our customers and I/S teams and is expected to collaborate with customers, digital strategists, usability designers, developers and web business specialists to create UX focused designs which align with the business partner roadmaps and other corporate initiatives.
- We use agile, waterfall and hybrid approaches to project management across our customer lines of business.
- The candidate could support commercial and government customers; serve on product or project teams and is expected to work closely with other members of the design organization including Business System Analysts, Solution System Designers, Technical Advisors, and Application and Enterprise Architects in addition to their customer and implementation teams.
- There is a heavy meeting culture at CLIENT - candidate can expect to attend multiple meetings daily. We commonly use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products for design work.

- 40% Under the guidance of a higher level designer, creates user friendly, effective, and engaging user interfaces for platforms including mobile, tablet, or desktop applications. Hones the skills needed to create user interface design artifacts to describe the intended user experience.
- 25% Provides appropriate support and documentation to help maintain the usability integrity of application systems. Learns to establish standards, best practices, and processes. Researches user centered design best practices, innovations, trends and methodologies.
- 20% Learns to identify user needs, elicit user feedback, conduct user research activities and task flow analysis to improve user experience of each application. Synthesizes research findings into meaningful recommendations and actionable results. Share user data and insights with the team to communicate user needs and best practices. Tests and refines design decisions based on user feedback and analytics.
- 15% Works as a member of a team to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including the business and application development teams. Serves as a true advocate for our users and thoroughly understand how audiences interact with our applications. Evangelizes user experience best practices and collaborates with customer and internal team members to validate conceptual designs.
