Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our 1st Shift team. This position is based out of our Value-Added Services areas of the Spartanburg Distribution Center in Duncan, SC.Position Overview:This position is responsible to assure the servicing of all customers’ accounts regarding administration of their orders. Interface directly with customers, sales force, supply chain or other Eaton Electrical Division team members, and other duties as assigned.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will: Receive orders from Vista for various VAS suffixes and ensure that the order is on the right suffix and that all aspects of the order are valid and correct.

Respond to inquiries from customers, Field Sales REP firms, buyers, and demand planners regarding most administrative aspects of the status of customers’ orders (i.e., shipment status, defects, etc.) in a manner that displays the utmost responsiveness and professionalism, as they may be the customers’ main contact with Eaton Electronics Division.

Exercise judgment and take appropriate action regarding customer and sales force requests on most problems dealing with customer orders and resolve at maximum profit to our operations and best service to customers.

Exercise judgment in using guidelines established in policies and procedures to make decisions on service issues, such as replacement orders and premium freight shipments.

Solve problems in invoicing, shortages, incorrect shipments, tracing shipments, and order entry errors.

Able to analyze and identify On Time Delivery issues and make strategic decisions that balance the needs of the customer with the needs of the business.

Monitor special or key accounts, based on customer requirements.

Able to adjust work hours as well as be available for overtime as/when business need arises.

Perform other appropriate functions as directed or requested.

Use appropriate software / database applications to print product labels.

Manually ship special orders using UPS/ DHL/ FedEx for International shipments. As well as ship domestic orders when there are systematic issues.

Manually create Bill of Lading, Customs paperwork as needed.

Run bill of material and complete manual order entry through Vista to fill orders as needed.

Match Purchase orders in AS400 to General orders in Vista and release for shipment.

Full-truck load shipment details and routing.

Communicate with buyers and demand planners on any issues with direct source material.

Monitor inventory levels and systematically receive in incoming material.

No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the Spartanburg facility will be considered for this position.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing from an accredited institution

Position Criteria:General knowledge of Vista, Warehouse Management System, and AS400

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
