 Position SummarySEGULA Technologies is looking for a skilled and motivated CAD Designer to join our engineering team in support of design and development projects for passenger and commercial vehicles powered by diesel engines. The role involves full-cycle product development from concept through to post-SOP, with a focus on air intake and charge air cooling systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse project requirements and contribute to the definition of technical and design solutionsDevelop design concepts based on project scope and engineering requirementsPerform 3D tolerance investigations and feasibility assessmentsCreate detailed part and assembly drawings in accordance with VW standardsDesign and model parametric tubes, pipes, and sheet metal bracketsGenerate 3D models, assemblies, and associated technical documentationAlign and consult with the client on design intent, solutions, and project progressPresent design results internally and to the clientEnsure compliance with technical specifications and project timelinesProject ScopeFull development cycle involvement: from concept to 3 months post-SOPFocus on air intake/charge air cooling systems:Raw air intake systemsDamper filtersClean air ductsSnow-free intake solutionsCrankcase and cylinder head ventilation componentsFilter holders and acoustic measuresIntegration of special partsRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience in mechanical design with a focus on automotive componentsStrong project management and technical analysis capabilitiesExperience presenting results and aligning design direction with client stakeholdersExcellent understanding of tolerance stack-ups and manufacturability considerationsTechnical ProficienciesCAD Tools: CREO Elements, CATIA V5VW Platforms & Tools: KVS, ECA, FREIA, TERRAPORT, Connect, NOLIS, NVS, VAMOS, eNTIStandards: VW Drawing Creation StandardsOther Tools: MS Office SuiteLanguage RequirementsEnglish: Fluent (fluent)What We OfferWork on cutting-edge automotive projects with an international OEMExposure to a global engineering environment with development opportunitiesCompetitive compensation and flexible working arrangementsProfessional development through engagement with a dynamic and experienced team
