The Candidate Architect serves as a developing professional in an architectural design team, developing and finalising work on specific elements of a project under the direction and supervision of a Senior Architect or designated senior team member.Technical ExcellenceArchitectural design, BIM modelling and drawing production, ensuring compliance with Design Briefs, completeness and accuracyDesign co-ordination within Architecture and across all disciplines to ensure integrated project deliveryProduction of technical documentation, specifications and construction details in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirementsQuality assurance and peer review of design work to maintain professional standards and project consistencyCollaboration and CommunicationLiaison with project stakeholders, consultants and contractors to facilitate effective communication and resolve design-related queriesParticipation in design team meetings and site visits to support project progression and site co-ordination activitiesPreparation of presentation materials and support for client presentations under senior guidanceProfessional DevelopmentEngagement with mentoring from Senior Architects to develop technical expertise and professional competencyContribution to sustainable design principles and compliance with building regulations and environmental standardsMaintenance of professional development records and continued learning in line with SACAP requirements
