Looking for and opportunity to step into a CDP position - then this is the role for you!Create an impact for our guests in this full-time, hands-on positionEnsure our resort guests have a mouth watering dining experience and make holiday memoriesWhat you’ll do:Our Food and Beverage offering is fully licensed, with an a la carte, in room, cafe and poolside dining menu and wine list that will please all palates and cater for all budgets.  The resort also houses a conference and events facility which can accommodate up to 180 people, for wedding, conferences, or corporate events.We pride ourselves on excellent guest services and ensuring those that stay with us have a memorable experience!  Under the direction of the Head Chef, you will be responsible for kitchen coordination including, prep, service, portion and stock control and for the supervision and training of other kitchen staff as required.  What you’ll bring:  A qualification in commercial cookery, or applicable trade testingPrevious experience in a restaurant, club kitchen, resort, or caféA working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safetyExperience in ordering and stock controlWilling to be part of a greater team and jump in to assist as needed, whether it be during daily service or a large eventA passion for your trade and for creating and presenting contemporary dishes using local produceDemonstrated excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to work productively in a fast-paced, buzzing work environment, dealing with a high volume of covers in times of peak demand or in servicing group bookingsWhat’s in it for you?At Parks & Resorts we are not just about discounts (although you do get these too).
