We are looking for an experienced Commercial Analyst for this newly created role and are offering a realistic career path to commercial management. Our Global Logistics - Resources and Industrials Division require the skills, drive and dedication of a Commercial Analyst to support the National Commercial Manager for Resources and Industrial, based at Arndell Park NSW.

The key focus of thisrole is to assist the R&I businessesacross multiple projects concurrently with the aim to achieve commercial objectives. You will have apassion for supporting colleagues and a natural curiosity to want todeep dive into commercial challenges and work with the leadership teams to provide potential solutions.

The role of Commercial Analyst – Resources and Industrials is to:

  • Provide commercial support and advice to the Resources and Industrials Leadership team on business related decisions that impact profitability, customer retention and business growth.
  • Support the business to diagnose commercial issues via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information.
  • Develop action plans in collaboration with business teams to improveperformance.
  • Assist and support the preparation of new business proposals, capital expenditure requests to ensure investment proposals meet compliance requirements.
  • Support the National Commercial Manager – Resources and Industrials and other Commercial Managers as required to achieve commercial objectives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify business risk and the commercial implication of business decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a calm and balanced view.
  • Customer focused with excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to change priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Sound operational knowledge and experience in the transport sector is preferred though not essential.
  • Business Degree or tertiary qualifications, CPA (Preferred).
