Customer Serviceteam as a

Customer Service Officer. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe andleading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

In this diverse and challenging role, you will support our team by managing enquiries that come via phone and email. Our customers are a mix of homeowners and builders requiring a variety of superior products and solutions that we offer. Being the face of BlueScope, you will ensure all of our customers receive exceptional service.

A self-motivated, quick thinker, you quickly adapt and can juggle more than one task at any given time. You also being busy and working in a supportive team environment.

What Will You Do?

Being the face of BlueScope for our customers, you will be:

  • interacting with our customers face to face andviaphoneand email to manage a variety of enquiries
  • preparing and following up customer quotes, whilst supporting our sales teams and branches across Australia
  • providing internal support and regular feedback to our sales teams with customer and competitor information
  • resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customer’s experience

  • strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • theability to pick up new and custom IT systems quickly
  • a proactive approach in building constructive and effective relationships
