Description:

Develop innovative products from concept to manufacturing-ready product while assuring design intent/integrity is maintained

Analyze test data and prepare recommendations for approval

Evaluate market-driven features/options and recommend improvements to products where applicable

Maintain working relationships with Suppliers, Vendors, Customers, and all internal departments

Maintain design documentation, including 2-D layouts and/or 3-D CAD design, product specifications, and test specifications

Assist in identifying new technologies to improve time to market including software tools, manufacturing processes, supplier components, prototyping, and vendor capabilities

Support internal departments with technical information

Organize and maintain BOM and cost estimates for new products

Initiate and implement design-related cost reduction and quality improvement ideas

Skills:Mechanical, Mechanical engineering, structural steel, design engineering, Solidworks, Mechanical design, ansys, cad design, bom, welding, fabrication, sheet metalAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil EngineeringGood vs Great:

ANSYS Experience (FEA Software)

Inventor Experience

Vault/Data Management Experience
