As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.The painting and finishing department at Springhill is the final process in the manufacture of COLORBOND®, where coils of steel are painted with our world leading Colorbond coating process and then packaged and despatched to our Australian & International customers.In this critical role, you will use your technical background and experience to deliver key outcomes in maintaining and developing the Paint and Finishing department cranes, these cranes range from 5-40t and are made up of manually operated AC/DC cranes, Cab-driven cranes, and Automated cranes.What Will You Do?As a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, you will:supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenancecoordinate and provide technical support to the maintenance resources within the sectioncoach, mentor and develop maintenance personnel in manufacturing excellence principles and process, particularly around root cause and problem analysis and the development and execution of corrective actionsparticipate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projectsrespond to the day-to-day Mechanical availability and reliability issuesMore About YouAn experienced mechanical maintenance coordinator, you will have sound leadership experience, work effectively in cross functional groups and thrive in a team environment.
