Short Range Planning Engineer

As a Mine Engineer joining our Open Pit Planning Team you will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and optimizing our Open Pit operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment that’s embedded in daily operations influencing daily and weekly outcomes that directly impact safety, production, and cost performance.Location:            Haile Gold Mine, South Carolina

Position Type:   Permanent Full- TimeDevelop and execute short-range mine plans aligned with weekly, monthly and quarterly production targetsPartner closely with operations, geology, and drill & blast to optimize ore recovery and movementGenerate and reconcile end-of-month (EOM) production data and mining progressMonitor and analyze plan compliance (daily, weekly, monthly) and identify improvement opportunitiesCreate bench plans, dig plans, and dump designs to support safe and efficient operationsTrack and report on high wall, dump, and production performance metricsProvide clear and competent direction to operations teams to ensure plan executionDrive continuous improvement through data, field presence, and cross-functional collaboration
