Will be responsible for all aspects within assigned Production Security Program functions, including: coordinate with technology and business functional groups to specify network connectivity for Production and test environments, document processes and activities related to tools and support regulatory examinations and internal audits as needed.

Essential Job FunctionsOverall responsibility of security reviews of the Bank's Firewall rules. Reviews requests and audits rules and rule changes.

Ensures systems specifications, security controls and appropriate logging and monitoring align with business needs.

Performs detailed and ongoing risk analysis to determine IT security risk related to firewall rules. Leads security operation firewall reviews in coordination with IT partners.

Uses initiative and sound judgment to make appropriate recommendations for informed risk mitigation.

Reviews the monitoring process of firewall rule addition and deletions while following procedures and policies; escalates issues to management as appropriate.

Produces reports for management which include security recommendations for firewall rules and future direction.

#LI-AL1QualificationsQualificationsTechnical expertise in the implementation, operation and design of multi-vendor and multi-protocol environments found in a leading edge data center.

7 years of security experience with broad understanding of all security domains

Check Point or Fortinet firewall policy administration; VSX firewall clusters preferred

BlueCoat Web Proxy policy and system administration

Solid foundation in networking concepts, protocols/ports and their real world application

Knowledge of Information Security tool deployment and operations, as well as vulnerability management, application and system configuration hardening.

Understanding of industry leading security technologies or infrastructure systems in a complex technical IT operations environment

Tufin or Firemon policy orchestration preferred

Ability to perform firewall reviews and recommend remediation and optimization

Ability to clearly communicate technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical people, written and verbally

Experience in a regulated industry highly desirable

Preferred certifications: CISSP - Certified Information Technology Security Professional; CCSP - Certified Cisco Security professional; GIAC - Global Information Assurance Certification; CISM Certified Information Security Manager

Hands-on experience assessing security controls and managing risk

Working knowledge and experience in n-tier network security architectures

Ability to understand networking and network protocols analyzers (i.e. Tcpdump and Wireshark)

Understanding of penetration techniques

Understanding of vulnerability and risk management

Working knowledge of information security risks and counter measures for Windows and Unix/Linux platforms Level Supervised
