Job Description

This flexible and autonomous role based in Orange will seeyou out and about in your communityworking with people who’ve sustained a physical or psychological injury and helping them return to their previous daily living activities at work and home. What a sense of achievement for both you and your customer, knowingthat you aremaking areal difference to their well being and daily life.

  • Manage a caseload of 25-30 cases
  • Assess client needs
  • Develop strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities
  • Play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach

You will provide initial assessments, early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, functional capacity assessments, job task analyses and case management services.

You’ll work across various schemes including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.

Qualifications

You will also have:

  • Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Allied Health Qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (Highly desired but not essential)
  • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers
  • Current driver's license and motor vehicle
