Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role based in Knoxville, Tennessee. The individual in this role will report to the CFO and will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will also be expected to handle large volumes of transactions, complex reconciliations, and participate in reconciliation meetings with upper management. Responsibilities: Managing the preparation and entry of journal entries Overseeing the month-end close process Conducting reconciliations and assisting with budgeting and forecasting Handling large volumes of transactions and complex reconciliations Participating in reconciliation meetings with upper management Conducting variance analysis and implementing process improvements Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations Reviewing the accounts payable and conducting financial analysis Implementing and overseeing process improvement initiatives Managing accounting functions and maintaining accounts payable and receivable Conducting audits and overseeing billing functions.The position is hybrid but will require someone to live in the local Knoxville area. A degree in either finance or accounting and a CPA License For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interviewRequirements Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor for at least 3 years Proficiency in all accounting functions Experience managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Expertise in conducting auditing procedures Familiarity with billing functions and journal entries Proficiency in month-end close procedures Experience in bank account reconciliation Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques Understanding of banking compliance regulations Proven track record in business process improvement Experience with process improvement initiatives Ability to develop and implement process improvement strategies.
