Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk for a great client northwest of Nashville. This role is within the Healthcare/NHS industry, and you will be handling a variety of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function. This includes processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with external entities.The role will be onsite for the first 90 days or so, then 4-1 Hybrid. The client has excellent benefits and growth potentialResponsibilities: Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records. Carry out the verification, classification, and recording of federal ID numbers and purchase orders. Monitor and reconcile accounts to guarantee all bills and payments are accounted for and correctly posted. Manage multiple accounts payable email boxes, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Facilitate the annual 1099 process for multiple companies. Process patient refunds while ensuring proper documentation is provided. Act as a liaison with external tax firms. Manage the unclaimed property process and associated reporting. Engage in additional duties and projects as assigned.Qualified candidates contact Daniel ShomoRequirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Healthcare/NHS industry Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) Experience in check runs and coding invoices Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Experience in invoice processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in using NetSuite or similar financial software Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Possess strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
