Description We are offering a temporary to hire Administrative Assistant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role is within the Banking/Finance industry and will be situated on-site. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be tasked with various administrative duties, including but not limited to, handling emails, organizing events, maintaining records, and generating reports.Responsibilities: Administer the company's general email address, ensuring all inbound and outbound correspondences are managed efficiently Oversee the management of return checks, taking necessary actions when required Regularly update and maintain a log for active insurance licenses Handle the task of arranging flowers for special occasions, births, and deaths Generate weekly tracking reports using Microsoft Excel Prepare monthly rolling reports for each branch and for the credit insurance company Conduct audits of office supply orders from branches and keep an updated dealer list Organize various company events including the Christmas party and training events Be responsible for the preparation of award plaques at the end of each year Enter due date changes in the system and maintain accurate customer credit recordsRequirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Strong customer service skills and the ability to professionally answer inbound and outbound calls Experience with data entry and report generation Ability to manage email correspondence effectively Experience with scheduling appointments and event planning Strong organizational effectiveness and ability to maintain an organized administrative office Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of banking or financial industry regulations, practices, and procedures would be a plus.TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
