Description We are providing an exciting opportunity for a proficient Application Support Engineer in Memphis, Tennessee. In this crucial role, you will be tasked with ensuring the seamless operation of our software applications, managing technical support for our users, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our systems.Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive technical support to users, effectively communicating technical information to individuals with various levels of technical expertise. Address incoming support tickets, prioritizing and resolving them in a timely manner. Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to software applications, employing your knowledge of scripting languages and database systems. Monitor the performance of applications, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to prevent system failures. Engage in the deployment and configuration of software updates and patches, validating changes to minimize disruption to users. Identify recurring issues, analyze them, and implement solutions to prevent future problems. Document troubleshooting procedures and resolution steps, maintaining accurate records. Contribute to the creation of technical documentation for new applications. Escalate critical issues to the relevant teams as necessary. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of application support engineering Proficient in Cisco Technologies for managing network infrastructure Skilled in Citrix Technologies for virtualization and application delivery Knowledgeable in Cloud Technologies for managing and supporting cloud-based applications Familiar with Dell Technologies for server and storage solutions Have hands-on experience with Firewall Technologies for securing network infrastructure Capable of managing and supporting Active Directory services Expertise in Backup Technologies to ensure data safety and business continuity Understanding of Computer Hardware for troubleshooting and maintenance Proficient in Configuration Management for maintaining system consistency Excellent Customer Service skills to provide quality support to users.
