About Us

Our shop in Midtown Memphis specializes exclusively in building road race Mazda Miatas. We are a non-smoking facility seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Auto Technician to join our team of two qualified technicians. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to refine their skills and learn on the job.

Job Responsibilities

You will strip cars down to a bare shell and reassemble them into fully functional race cars. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

Disassembling and assembling suspensions

Removing and replacing dash, wiring, motor, transmission, clutch, rear differentials, and axles

Pressing in bushings and bearings

Removing and replacing doors, fenders, and other body panels

Installing gauges and running associated wiring

Understanding of alignment (preferred, but not required)

While the work is not overly complex, it requires precision and thoroughness with no room for errors. All tasks can be learned with the right mechanical aptitude, and we are willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of auto technician experience

Must provide your own tools

Strong attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic

Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to a Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM schedule

Willingness to travel for races approximately one weekend per month during the summer

Motivated to learn and grow in a specialized environment
